Back when I was a student, end-of-semester finals exams felt like the high jump — out of reach and stressful! Parents know that studying for finals should actually start as soon as the new semester begins, and we agree. There’s so much students could be doing with Cornell Notes, studying with friends, sticky-note summaries, and working with a tutor on a weekly basis. That said, dedicated time to have last-minute questions answered gives confidence before heading into those exams, and that’s why Pacific Learning Academy again offered this opportunity to spend 90-minutes with a subject expert.
In our post-group study survey, 100% of our respondents said they would be Likely or Very Likely to recommend Group Study to a friend (yay!).
“I heard nothing but praise for the Math tutor,” said one parent, and her son “returned after group study with so much more confidence.”
Many parents reiterated that coming to group study with questions prepared is crucial, as 90-minutes does go by quickly.
If you’re worried that your child will be above or below the average level of the other students, you can consider putting together your own group. At the end of the semester, find three friends to join you and Pacific Learning Academy will provide the subject expert tutor on the day and time you choose.
