What Happens at Group Study?
Students arrive a few minutes before their lesson to check in and find their study room. PLA staff will have reached out to you beforehand for study guides, plus we do our own research to get a sense of what will be on final exams. Students should bring their study guides, past work, past tests (if possible) and any questions they’d like to cover during the session. Since final exams and study guides will vary from school to school (and teacher to teacher), it’s important for students to come prepared and with specific questions. PLA instructors will have study material on hand just in case a student arrives completely bewildered and not sure what/how to study (although we hope that doesn’t happen!).
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds after reserving your spot in our scheduled group sessions, but we do realize that life happens and some students may find it impossible to attend the group tutoring session as originally scheduled. Please call the office (425-562-3545) and leave a message by 1:00 pm on the Friday before Group Study if your child will not be able to attend. We will be happy to credit the tutoring session towards a future service at Pacific Learning Academy (1-on-1 tutoring, diagnostic testing, consulting, or future group sessions). If a scheduled group session is cancelled due to lack of enrollment you will receive a full refund.
