School is out in a few weeks – great news for area students, and a possible headache for families trying to keep their kids both busy and enriched.

As an accredited private school, many students use Pacific Learning Academy’s summer classes to get ahead in all core subjects (Math, English, History, Science), Spanish, and electives. Some play a “redo” card for that one class… you know the one. Our one-on-one or shared semester classes take less time than district summer school to complete, leaving plenty of time for your other summer plans. Students with the time and inclination can actually complete a full year-long course in 10 weeks. Plus, our tutors have flexible schedules, so we are able to plan around your vacations, camps, events, and football!
If you have a Sophomore or Junior gearing up for either the SAT or the ACT (don’t take both, though!), we offer one-on-one test prep classes with all the flexibility that you’d hope for in a summer class. Finally, regular summer tutoring sessions keep students fresh, and help them avoid the summer brain drain. Students anticipating a challenging Fall Schedule can seriously benefit from a review of previous material or a preview of concepts to come. This summer we are also incorporating a buffet of Study Skills topics for short, stand-alone courses or to incorporate into other tutoring.
