Tutoring and Academic Support
One-to-one instruction can help students strengthen skills, understand difficult material, prepare for tests, and feel more confident in their classes.
Students do not need to wait until they are failing to begin tutoring. Some work with us because they want extra support in a challenging subject, a quieter place to learn, or regular time with an instructor who can explain concepts at their pace.
Curriculum Previews
A preview of an upcoming course can make the first weeks of school feel much more manageable.
Students can become familiar with important vocabulary, foundational concepts, formulas, texts, or problem-solving strategies before encountering them in the classroom. This can be especially helpful for students who feel anxious about a difficult class, have a demanding schedule, or benefit from additional time and repetition.
Accredited High School Credit Courses
Students may take an Academy course to:
- Recover a missing credit
- Improve a previous grade
- Replace a course that is not working well
- Complete a graduation requirement
- Make room in their school schedule
- Pursue dual enrollment or an additional subject
- Earn credit through a more flexible, personalized format
Our accredited courses are taught one-to-one and scheduled around the student whenever possible.
