Kitchen Table High School

Earn high school credit in the comfort of your own home! In less than 2 minutes, Kirsten at Pacific Learning Academy explains how students working with our teachers complete courses in less time and with deeper understanding. It’s the magic of 1-on-1 education!

Most of our high school credit students attend another school full time or for most of the day. They meet with an Academy tutor to fulfill requirements in the course of their choice, enjoying the individualized curriculum and going at the pace that allows them to shine. Students take classes for fun, for graduation requirements, to replace a grade, and to enhance their high school transcript (upper level language and Math are two of the most popular types of classes!).

Every student learns differently. Imagine the possibilities in a 1-on-1 learning environment! Even students who have previously struggled in a course can typically complete an entire year’s curriculum in less than 50 hours.

Contact us anytime for a free consultation. If we’re not the best fit for your child, we do our best to give you ideas and referrals for next steps.

Pacific Learning Academy is a one-on-one high school offering single courses and dual enrollment, as well as full-time high school. We also offer tutoring in all subjects from 6th to 12th grade, including SAT/ACT diagnostic testing and prep, either in homes or local libraries across the Eastside (Issaquah, Sammamish, etc…). Update to this video! The Issaquah School has increased the number of “outside credits” they will allow to count toward graduation. I believe it’s now 4 (up from 2).

Of course, for any student who wants to take a class not required for graduation, the limits/rules don’t apply. 🙂
